Women of Ingredion Network (WIN) BRG Pakistan group celebrated 5 years of continued success in helping empower women at Rafhan Maize for an equal future. Another reason to celebrate was the recent win of the Diversity and Inclusion Innovation Award at the Food Ingredients Europe Expo. A cheerful day with lots to be proud of!
To thank our employee volunteers (heroes) for their contributions to the success of our Clothing Drive and Dignity Boxes initiatives, an appreciation luncheon was organized for the team where they were also awarded the appreciation certificates by the Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director, Mr. Humair Ijaz. Without their help, the timely execution of the initiatives would not have been possible.
As a goodwill gesture to promote sports spirit and the well-being of residents in Faisalabad, Rafhan Maize’s Cricket Team played a bilateral series of cricket matches with Sitara Textile Pvt. Ltd., Faisalabad. Showing a great performance, Rafhan Team won the series defeating the opponent team by a good margin. Kudos to the whole team for a great victory!
Rafhan Maize’s team organized a blood donation camp, in partnership with Sundas Foundation, donating 73 blood bags for patients suffering from genetic blood disorders. Employees from all departments and areas passionately took part in the noble cause and committed their continued support to help give hope and courage to those in need.
It’s so amazing to share that our production teams have gone above and beyond in achieving the highest-ever production targets while keeping safety and quality as our first priorities. With tremendous contributions from the Wet Milling Team, Dry Starch Team, Maintenance and Reliability Teams, and Agribusiness and Warehouse Teams, new records have been set in terms of production achievements. A special celebratory session was organized to acknowledge and appreciate the roles each team has played in keeping the bar high even during challenging times.
Rafhan Maize donated 3,000 dignity boxes, in partnership with the Akhuwat organization, for the female flood survivors in Pakistan. The aim was to distribute much-needed hygiene products to women who got displaced because of ravaging floods in the country. On 28th November the successful handover of all the boxes was completed. The caring action by the organization has been very well received by the beneficiaries.
